    The view at the top is so worth the hike!!

    Excellent facilities and we'll kept trails. We were going to do Hartz Peak but shortened it to the Esperance lake trail due to inclement weather. The water was gushing down the trail but all the low spots had built up wooden platforms so we didn't submerge our feet. Excellent toilets and a water supply at the trailhead. It made for a great shelter to sit out some heavy rain as we made some hot soup to warm up before heading out on the we'll kept gravel road.

    Beautiful landscape, good facilities, amazing views from the Hartz Peak.

    Plenty of boardwalks and clearly marked trails. It was very windy with strong gusts up on peaks, so we did not consider it safe enough for us to reach the peak. It was a good walk with 2 lakes and nice diversity of flora along the way.
